Environmental Policy Statement
Opening Statement:
Atlas Security Management (Europe) Ltd recognises as a company it
has a responsibility towards the environment and aims to protect
and preserve the environment where possible.
In order to successfully implement and maintain our ‘Environmental
Policy’ we will incorporate the practise of the three C’s
–
Commitment:
· Commitment to upholding our policy.
Continuity:
· Ensuring that the practises and procedures required to
implement and maintain our Environmental Policy are adopted by the
whole organisation and that we are nurturing and fostering the ethos
of ‘joined up’ thinking. Teamwork is the essence to
success.
Continual Improvement:
· We as an organisation are always looking to improve our
working practises and implement systems accordingly.
Obeying the Law:
· As a company we agree to observe legal requirements and
regulations in all our operational locations.
· As a company we will ensure the ‘Environmental Laws’
are complied with at all times.
· In any instance where this process maybe hindered or not
possible to implement we will take advise from the appropriate regulatory
authorities.
Operating Safely:
· We pride ourselves on striving to provide a safe
and hazard free environment for our employees, and the surrounding
community in which we operate.
· We aim to minimise the risk of environmental pollution
at all our operational locations and work in partnership with other
supplies organisations, contractors and employees in order to achieve
this.
· We, as a company will implement and maintain emergency
plans ensuring we safeguard the environment in the event of fires
floods or other natural disasters.
Purchasing:
· Specifying and purchasing items, which can be
operated in an energy efficient manner.
· Requesting suppliers to identify any harmful processes
or materials they are currently using and where feasible secure
their commitment to a phased elimination.
· Where possible work toward the use of energy efficient
and low pollution technology.
Achieving Excellence:
· By conducting regular review of your operational
procedures.
· Monitoring and evaluating procedures on a regular basis.
· Record all findings accurately using such data to identify
areas of practice for improvement and those, which are working well
for and on behalf of the environment.
